Isaac Asimov on education
In this video Isaac Asimov questions future of education in 1988.
Very insightful. Some basic ideas of e-learning are here, given in a very clear and sound fashion.
Culturally supported bias against math
We are constantly fed by fear of mathematics. This video makes a funny example of this not so funny fact.
And it will not be enough to find some interesting and everyday life supported proofs that math is important and fundamental, yet we need to find more productive ways of de-fearing the subject.

Techno toy that will help us create some great content
Converter of Power Point slides to HTML 5 can be great servant, but a lousy master. We have seen so much of so called e-learning that basically combines the worst of both worlds - bad pedagogy wrongly applied to Power point, and lack of any pedagogy in incorrectly led e-learning process. I hope to see less power point in e-learning content, anyway.
Strange case of Robotron Man and a DDR computer
Who woul guess that super action hero, Robotron Man, makes for living like mechanical engineering professor. Old stereotype of a extreme human duality, perhaps the best described in famous case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by R L Stevenson, is exploited in the context of fighting evil by knowledge. I can agree this is possible. Robotron man can be used as a tool to show how knowledge can be cool and how you can be even the Super hero by knowing things. Yes, do check Adventures of Robotron Man.
But, what always fascinates me very much is any case of seemingly strange coincidence. So, after some cortical googling, I have recalled this: there was an East German company in IT market, active in 1980s. The company name was Robotron.
